We think Dynamite Red has the potential to be a top performance gelding. He is a full brother to Circle C Red Diamond who has been extremely successful against the very best in Texas. Our Red has a big stride and so far has been learning all his basics so we hope that he will be a future winner! He went to his first show in 2008 and won Reserve Champion Gelding at the Dogwood Donkey Show in Abbotsford. He also was Reserve Champion in the Green Donkey Division.

Red showed how much he had learned over the winter by winning the Reserve High Point NMDA Green award at the 2009 Dogwood Donkey Show. He competed successfully in halter, showmanship, jumping and trail, as well as all of the driving classes.

Red continues to improve his driving skills and has been competing in the Indoor Driving Trials put on by the Mission Carriage Driving Club. In his first event he placed second in dressage and had the fastest time in the cones course. He finished off 2010 by winning Champion Miniature Donkey for the series of Indoor Driving Trials. Red also was consistently placed first or second in the dressage phase in the Training Level division against horses and ponies! He has been a wonderful ambassador for donkeys at these shows! Many of the other competitors were not familiar with donkeys or their capabilities at all.
