Toque was born totally unexpectedly- almost 6 weeks early! The weather was extremely cold and uninviting. He was the smallest foal I have ever seen and made the barn cats look large in comparison. His dam Fedora is just under 30" as is his sire Raisin Cain, so his smallness is genetic, as well as the result of being premature. He appears to be a perky little guy with great charm and personality. He is named after the classic Canadian winter head gear! He has an interesting pedigree and shows great potential.
