This was the long anticipated foal of Circle C Priscilla. We had been watching her closely because her last foal was born by caesarian section and did not survive. Extremely disappointing, as that foal had been conceived via an outside breeding at another farm- expensive stud fee and all the hopes dashed, plus a large vet bill to save the jennet! Despite being closely watched, Priscilla (aka Lucy) managed to foal on her own safely, but was not interested in her baby! The foal did not get the necessary colostrum and things were not looking good. Thanks to the intervention of our vet Dr. Eric Martin, the tiny sorrel jennet foal received emergency intensive care. Dr. Randy Armstrong put in many hours of work to help her overcome her poor start in life. Priceless deserves her name and hopefully will go on to become a member of our breeding herd. She is the first offspring from WV Lionheart and we are so pleased with her!
I have decided to offer Priceless for sale due to my husband's health and the necessity of reducing my work load. She has stayed small, but very correct and feminine- a great opportunity for a breeder. Her pedigree is loaded with well known names and on top of it all, everyone is drawn to her extremely gorgeous dished face! I am often told that Priceless is the cutest one of all!
